Alpina 2501 - the legend in a compact format!
The new Alpina 2501 retains all of the clasic characteristics of its bigger siblings (4m and 5m span) but in a more compact 2.5m format. Get the true feel of an Alpina on smaller slopes – and at an extremely attractive price!The Alpina 2501 with its four flap high aspect ratio wing offers uncompromising performance. It is certainly not a model for pure beginners, but is rather aimed at the sports-oriented pilot. The new in-house profile with about 11% thickness and curvature has proved extremely convincing during flight tests. In the right hands the model performs excellent aerobatic manoeuvres, even in strong wind conditions. The legendary Tangent build quality ensures uncompromised integrity, even in the toughest of manoeuvres. In weak conditions, the camber changing flaps and the typical Alpina style high-tail and spherical elevator keep the model centred in the narrowest lift , while the crow brake facility (butterfly) provides excellent approach control in all conditions.
The model is available Almost Ready to Cover (ARC) or pre-covered (ARF) in a combination of two colours and also in the revolutionary Design Edition. Our new "Small" Alpina is available both as a pure glider (Alpina 2501 PRO) and as a fully-fledged electric glider, with a special e-fuselage (Alpina 2501 Elektro).
